TYCD BACKGROUND
TYCD was formed on 28 July 2011 by 2 concerned youth from rural area of Senwabarwana, Ga-Makgato Kromhoek. This initiative was brought in life after teenage pregnancy, Alcohol and Drug Abuse played a vital role in rural communities.
After the issue of substances was addressed and seems youth taking part in changing the negativity mentality of Drug and Alcohol Abuse, it verged us to grow even wider than expected were we added Computer Basic Skills (C.B.S) and Tshwaranang Soccer Development which deals basically with developing sports from Primary Schools, High Schools and Community teams.
After establishing the initiative of Computer Basic Skills, 32 Learners from Mathipa Makgato Secondary School attended classes for a full month were they were doing Introduction to Computer and its components, Intro to Microsoft Office Word and Excel. We're striving to reach as many schools as possible as long as we have support from communities members.
